Adus, sejuk la minggu nie. Kesian Atiqah, pagi2 kena pergi school. Daun2 pun semua dah luruh. Nampak gersang jer desa Troy ni. Sekarang, 4.30 petang dah gelap. Boleh dilanda winter depression camni. The common symptoms: sadness, anxiety and loss of interest in activities. For now, tak ada laie dijangkiti virus nie
. It may sounds funny but over here, on average annualy 6-7% of the population will be experiencing it.
Nway, the good news is according to the weather prediction, maybe Ahad ni boleh main snow. Yeay! Now, if I can just remember where did I keep my snowboard? Wakakaka. Mimpi la nak master main snowboard tu. Jatuh memanjang…

Yeay! End of the semester is just around the corner. This also means final projects are due. Out of the 4 final projects I’ll be submitting, 2 of them require oral presentation. Oral presentation? Macam pernah ku dengar, tapi di mana ya? Yes, it’s our best friend, public speaking.
Try asking the person next to you, what is his top 10 fear factor. You’ll definitely find public speaking somewhere in the list. Usually among the top 3. Hmm, interesting…
Over the years, I’ve given a handful of presentations and I’ve learned to overcome the fear bit by bit. However, I’ve to admit that I’m not a natural speaker. Ingat lagi masa present final project di Salford dulu, sy hampir2 terjatuh disebabkan terlampau nervous
. Malu weh! Rasa macam tak nak buat presentation lagi. However, having to realize the importance of public speaking , I was really determined to conquer it. Tapi, camna yer?

Important sebutannya Import’n. Better jadinya Beder.
Yang menarik sekali, when they’re playing together, they will communicate in English. Bila tiba masa nak bercakap dengan kami, automatis bertukar cakap Melayu. Aduh, nampak sangat Abah ngan Mama kena polish lagi cakap English ni, wakaka. So, sebut ramai2: Letter sebutannya Leder

Ouch! I never thought I would say this, but I’m just glad the semester’s about to end. I really need a break, a long break. The classes I’m taking this semester seem to have taken their toll on me. With so many works need to be completed especially on my independent study (Alhamdullilah, I’ve finally submitted the final draft to my supervisor) and the theory class (ouch! I really struggled during the first half of the semester with all the readings), I rarely spend as much time as I want to with the family

Yes, it’s true. No doubt about it. College football is a big thing in America. As for today alone, there were at least 5 action-packed games shown on the tube simultaneously.
Prior to my arrival, college football has little bearing on my life. Like most Malaysians, football = Man U + Chelsea + Liverpool + Arsenal = English Premier League. Unfortunately over here, what is football to us means soccer to Americans.
One thing which I admire the most about college football, apart from a great sportsmanship conduct (hardly any fights considering it’s a physical sport) and a well-oiled management team, is the level of success the sport plays in bringing the public together to come and watch the game. It seems like the whole town is attending the game.
Remember, we are only talking about college’s level (university) here, not the real deal yet, the big daddy: NFL’s American Football. Now, yang ni memang happening habis. People of different ages pakat2 datang support their team. Kalah menang kira adat le dalam game. Yang penting everybody is having fun while enjoying the game with friends and family.
Oh yeah, one more thing about football: don’t even get me started on the game’s statistics. Just trust me, it’s all about facts and figures over here. Pening kepala pokcik bila tengok those numbers on tv
… Buat Add Math (my father always corrected me when I prefer to use Mat Tamb instead of Add Math) masa sekolah menengah lagi senang daripada trying to figure out what the numbers mean
