Mengajar…

Mengajar. I like

On the stopot juga sy minta borang dan isi

Kiranya benefit of the doubt gitu…

Paling kurang pun, hantar la email ceritakan apa masalahnya. Tak ada pun…

Seriously, bad customer service. Jadinya user experience pun terjun ke laut jadinya.

Sudahnya En Celcom gak jadinya…

Boston Common…

May 2008. Ahh, the tulips…

Parking @ Putrajaya…

Selalu pergi Putrajaya?

Kalau ada meeting @ 9:00 pagi, agak2nya kalau sampai jam 8:30 pg, kira just nice tak? NOT! Kalau drive sendiri ke sana la…

Parking is always a headache around this part of the world. Nak senang cari parking? Buat cam gini..

6:00 pg – Bangun pagi etc

6:30 pg – Masuk dlm kereta, start enjin, pasang Red 104.9 dan vroom2 (dari Shah Alam nie)

7:00 pg – Singgah Petronas (just lepas 2nd tol – kalau ikut Puchong)

7:02 pg – Beli vitagen/ribena & nasik lemak/hotdog

7:15 pg – Sampai kat tempat yg dituju (biasanya lokasi meeting @ Presinct 1)

7:16 pg – Pilih tempat parking yang bersesuaian dengan hati dan perasaan (kalau @ 8:30 pg, minta mahap la nak buat cam gini – confirm penuh)

7:17 pg – zzz… ๐Ÿ˜€

8:30 pg – Breakfast dlm kereta 8)

9:00 pg – Meeting

Priceless, tak yah pening2 cari parking…

Distraction…

When I was completing my MS at Troy, I was somehow lucky to have an awesome Prof. by the name of Dr. Krull who was absolutely amazing in analysing and describing how human cognition works .

One of the things which I still rememberย  till now and always reminded myselfย  is that our brain is only good at doing things one at a time

Yes, I know some of us are good at multitasking but I believe the outcome will not be as good as if we decide to tackle one task and then follows by the others .

That’s exactly why I’m totally against using mobile phone while driving; it doesn’t matter whether you’re holding it (worst) or using bluetooth (bad) or via whatever technology they will introduce in the near future…

You do realise right, once you’ve engaged in a conversation, part of your working brain needs to compute of what to say next or what kind of decision you have to make. And oh yeah, while you’re at that, there’s another thing you need to concentrate on as well. Like DRIVING the car!

So (tengah emo nie), just imagine how did I react when I read about this article on car manufacturers are beginning to introduce Internet to be part of the dashboard. Buatnya masa tengah drive tu, masa tu gak nak jawab tipon, then la2 tu jugak nak check FB. Kalau jadi apa2, sapa nak jawab…

Can you please…

Pelajar Tahun 1 yang duduk di sebelahnya: “Can you PLEASE stop SINGING?”

Simply bad usability…

Notice the set of buttons at the bottom of the picture? Barely right? You may have to squint your eyes …

Now, take a few steps back and look at them again. Try to figure out which button lets you play the cd and which lets you to pause. Can’t do?

Yup, this is simply bad usability…

Nak elegan punya pasal, sampai nak tekan button pun tak tau yang mana satu. Itu kalau tengok dari atas. Dari side view, memang out. You know what I finally did?

Then, I emailed the pic with the colored-buttons to the company which engineered this thingy, huhu…

Want to know what else is as ‘good’ as the one above? With great pleasure I present…

Nuff said! ๐Ÿ˜€
