En Blues #9…

I’m currently catching up with this morning’s game between the Red Devils and the Blues. Frankly, I couldn’t help myself from being sorry for En Blues #9.

Back when he was at Anfield, everyone know what he was capable of doing. His goal scoring record speaks for itself. He’s that good that in his debut season in 2007–08 season, he set a new record for the most prolific foreign goal scorer ever.

He was well on his way to becoming a fully fledged Liverpool legend just like Ian Rush, Roger Hunt and King Kenny but instead he ran out of patience and moved down south during the January’s transfer window.

January? Midway of the league? Come on, at least you could wait until the current session to end before deciding on your next move.

Fast forward till April ’11. 11 games under his belt, yet NO goal so far. Worst still, his replacement at Anfield just netted a brace yesterday. Even for a guy who didn’t actually plan to be transferred out of St James Park to be relocated at Merseydide, I believe he’s doing quite well for himself nowadays, considering he just recovered from injuries a few weeks back…

The say opportunity only knocks once, but for me,

Patience is a virtue…

UPDATE: En Blues #9 was replaced during the interval. Sigh…

HLP ’12 is just around the corner…

Yesterday, JPA released HLP 2012’s pre-conditioning and a list of qualified/recognised universities. And among the things explained in the pre-conditioning, there’s this one particular para that caught my full attention:

Menerima tawaran tempat pengajian di universiti-universiti terkemuka seperti di LAMPIRAN 1 dan LAMPIRAN 2 dalam pelbagai bidang pengkhususan.

Calon-calon yang mendapat conditional offer daripada Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Oxford University dan Cambridge University dalam bidang-bidang spesifik mengikut kekuatan bidang dalam universiti berkenaan akan diberi keutamaan untuk mendapat untuk mendapat penajaan ke luar negara;

WoW, this is a GOLDEN opportunity for those of you who are eyeing the ever elusive overseas spots! Trust me, not so many spots are available, I know (based on personal experience, huhu…).

And oh yeah, just for the record, if given the chance, I definitely would  love to study at MIT… I know it’ll definitely be tough over there, but belum cuba belum tahu kan?

Errr, my PhD status? I’ve met my potential supervisor last month and Alhamdulillah, the response was great. More than what I could have ever expected. I’ve also contacted my RPI’s x-advisor for my referee letter and hopefully it will be in my mailbox within a week time.

Kalau everything goes according to schedule, Insya Allah the latest I’ll become a student (again) will be early August this year.

Mantap…

Simply love the services @ Avillion Admiral Cove. Second to none!

Btw, this is our second time staying here. The first one was last October. This time around I settled for a superior room (takut bajet lari, ada projek baek punya untuk pesta buku hujung bulan ni, huhu…).

The room is quite spacious. When I booked it last month via booking.com (the room cost me RM220 – this is for weekend rate. If weekday, minus RM30), frankly speaking I was quite skeptical whether it would be able to occupy the four of us.

But upon entering the room, seriously we were quite pleased with it. Even the view is not bad as well, marina-view. From the balcony, I can clearly see our yacht nicely parked at one of the bays, huhu…

Selamat Pengantin Baru to Rz & pasangan 😉 …

Kita Bako!!!

The first time I watched HKLBK (Hantu Kak Limah Balik Kampung), I seriously didn’t get what the hoo haa was all about this particular flick at that time (last December gitu2).

Part dukun from seberang tu, memang tak boleh blah, wakawaka…

Aku orang Indonesia, kalau tidak penuh ilmu di dada, enggak sampei ke puncak Everest

But whatever it is, the favorite line, definitely…

Kita bako! Kita bako!
