Salinan Perakuan Pendaftaran Kenderaan…

Or better known as Geran Kereta dan yg sewaktu dengannya…

Lost yours? Not a prob, the process of getting a copy of it is quite straight forward…

Since I’m back in my hometown for Aid Fitri celebration, took the opportunity to visit JPJ Caw Anak Bukit this morning – just found out my KAU’s is MIA.

The Federal Government Administrative Complex which house several offices was easily to located at first. But to pinpoint the exact location I was heading to was quite an adventure though through lack of signage (hopefully, a plan to install them is underway).

At the end, I have to ask a couple of guards for directions.

At the counter, I was asked to fill out two copies of Borang JPJ K7. Took me a couple of mins to complete them – the form is quite well designed and the terms used are easy to apprehend which explained the minimal amount I took.

And oh yes, you’ll be needing a photostat copy of your IC as well. Ouch! Didn’t have it with you? No prob, you can have it done over there. Kena bayaq le skit, 2 kupang 🙂 …

Waited for 5 mins before my number was up. Greeted the officer behind counter before handing him the docs. Lastly to complete the whole process, RM50 exchanged hands – as fee.

Signed here, signed there. Done!

I’m a happy man 🙂 …

Update: Further details on the overall process can be found on this link. Btw, it was raining quite heavily this morning. In fact since the day we got back, hujan tiap2 hari kat ASKed ni. Alhamdulillah…

Menu standard buka puasa…

Dah masuk hari ke 22 berpuasa rupanya. Time flies…

Insya Allah untuk baki Ramadhan yang tinggal, semoga kita dapat mempertingkatkan lagi ibadah2 sunat yang digalakkan.

Nak bercerita sedikit tentang juadah berbuka kami sekeluarga tahun ni.

Still, no matter how many they are, menu kami dok macam tu gak; sama macam tahun lepas 🙂 ;

Ayam percik, kira tetap.

Side dishes; murtabak/popia/karipap sardin/roti john.

Yang bestnya minggu lepas terasa nak makan tepung pelita. Beli le lima – RM2 (rupanya ada yang jual 6 @ Rm2. Masa nak masuk waktu berbuka,

“Abah, what’s this? Looks like a boat.”

“Tepung pelita le, girl2.”

“Is it tasty?” sambil buat muka chicken.

“Makan le dulu. Then you tell me.”

Sudahnya, tak cukup. Siap berebut dengan adik. Ler, tak tahu la pulak anak2 aku ni suka makan benda alah ni 😀 …

Mati setem…

Among the documents that need to be submitted to JPA were 3 copies of Borang Perjanjian. And this agreement form must be stamped by LHDN first (biasa kita panggil mati setem). Three copies meaning RM30 worth of setem hasil @ RM10 each…

The stamp is readily available at any post offices. The one nearest to my office is Medan Tunku’s. Went there last Thursday and requested for RM10 setem hasil, unfortunately they’re out of it. Thus RM5’s will do for me…

Next, I made my way to LHDN @ Jalan Duta. Parking pun satu cerita di sini. The easiest way will be to park your car @ Medan Selera opposite the office. At the counter, there was this form that I needed to fill out first. The terms stated in it were quite alien at first, luckily there were a few officers around to help those in need like me 🙂 .

Once my number was called, presented the agreement forms, and walla! Stamped sudah! Selesai satu cerita! 🙂

Surat Cuti Belajar…

Alhamdulillah, selepas setahun menunggu, surat yang ditunggu2 sudah diterima…

As planned before this, I went to Putrajaya yesterday to submit all the required documents as a prerequisite to my study leave letter. By 7:15 am, I was already in front of Parcel C…

As some of you are already aware, parking spaces are quite premium over there. Didn’t want to take the chance hence the early arrival…

The whole process was quite straight forward. Once I submitted my forms, the officer in charge vetted through them at a glance before asking me to wait for a while. After 10 mins, the officer called my name and in her hand, there you have it, the precious Surat Cuti Belajar Bergaji Penuh dan Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan…

According to the letter, my study leave will start from 12/9/2011 till 11/9/2014 (36 bulan).

During the HLP’s briefing last September, we were told that for those who are doing their PhD locally, we can apply for 2 EOTs.

The first EOT is 6 months after the end of the stipulated 36 months. During this period, we will still be entitled to the allowance and our monthly salary.

For the second EOT, which is 6 months after the first EOT, no allowance but not too sure gaji masuk ke tak…

What ever it is, hati ada sedikit senang sekarang, Surat Tawaran Sementara dah bertukar menjadi Surat Tawaran Tetap but for what it’s worth, I know this is only the first step of a long and challenging journey ahead…

Update: After recalculating my annual leave, I got another 4 more days in the office; a couple before Eid and the other two on the 8/9 and 9/9…

Sedih bebenar nak tinggalkan my officemates especially my team (you know who you are guys/gals).

It has been a privilege working with each and everyone of you over the past 3 years. I’m really honoured…

Yes, I kn0w. I still owe the four of you a lunch treat. Lepas raya nanti, Insya Allah… 🙂

What to do, belasah je lah…

Just now, I came across this comment @ DSG …

My sv said : “When u enroll, you are making a promise to yourself to get yourself into trouble.. so, face it and just bear with it!

It’s ur choice from the beginning. You will get through it. I can do it, so can you. If it’s so easy, everybody will have a PhD!”
