Truly the ‘Special One’

Berpuasa di rantauan…

Sedar tak sedar dah 8 hari kita di dalam Ramadhan AlMubarak. So far Alhamdullilah, everything is smooth sailing. Cuma on the first day kena slight headache. It occured just right in the middle of Prof. Roger aka Prof. Usability’s class. Knowing him so well, I just approached him asking for an early dismissal. And being a really, really kewl Prof. kat School of LLC, dia siap suruh beli air kat vending machine lagi untuk buka puasa sebelum balik rumah :).

As for this semester that I’m taking two classes which start at 6 and end at 9, one of them being Roger’s HCI class and the other is Prof. Nathan’s Theory in HCI, so berbuka dalam kelas le jawabnya. Usually a bottle of juice will do. Kalau terasa lapar sangat, during break time which often right in the middle of the hours, Kit Kat dah cukup. Balik rumah nanti, juadah dah tersedia (Thanx Ayu).

Cerita pasal berbuka, maghrib sekarang dah semakin awal. On the first day it was like 7.09pm and Insya Allah on the last day of Ramadhan, it will be 6.18pm. As for the food pula, nasib baik kat Troy ni diaorang ada buat bazaar Ramadhan. Alaa, sebelah Walmart, tepi Price Chopper tu. Boleh la cari murtabak and air tebu. NOT!!! Hehehe, mana le nak cari bazaar Ramadhan kat sini. So, usually 1 hour before berbuka Ayu dah mula sibuk di dapur. Kitchen di Brinsmade Terrace ni selesa sikit banding dengan rumah lama. Fully equipped and everything is within reach. My job? Cam biasa, masa nasi and potong bawang :)…
