And the winner is…

You can never go wrong with Bryan Adam’s Heaven. Klasik abis bro…

Mind your language…

A few weeks back, I went to the post office with the intention of sending a parcel to my sis in the States…

Selepas timbang,

Berapa Cik?

RMxx.xx. Kalau registered kena tambah lagi RM3.50.

Errr, ok. Cam gitu registered la…

Fast forward a few weeks later, baru teringat pasal parcel ni. Lucklily I still keep the receipt though, errr somewhere in my wallet rasanya, huhu. I went straight to their website to check on the status…

Keluarlah status ni,

Dispatch To 640005

Errr, apa ke bondo 640005 tu bang? Cakap biar terang. Lepas a quick search via google, I found this…

For your information, “Dispatch to 64005” means through our International Mail Processing Centre, KLIA, the item has been dispatched from Malaysia to the destination.

Oh, gitu. And the best part of all, that’s it. It turns out, from this point onwards, there’s no other way to find out the location of the parcel since it’s already out of the country…

Hmmm, awat tak cakap awai2 hari tu Cik? Serupa macam tak payah jer sy guna registered mail tu, huhu…

Balik kampung…

Initially, we were planning on hitting the road around 9:00 pm-ish

On the way back from office (just after 5:20 pm), NKVE was badly congested due to an accident involving 2 cars and a lorry on the side of the road (Damansara heading towards Sungai Buluh). It was bumper to bumper all right, for almost 2 km long. Hmm, 1st yellow flag…

Oh yeah, did I tell you it was raining HEAVILY as well? 2nd yellow flag…

Sampai di rumah, masih lg dok pikiaq. Balik malam ni ka atau esok pagi je?

After maghrib, went online kejap. Check my Google Readers and came accross this:

CNY traffic update from the Star

Ok, lemme cuba try test klik tengok…

North South Expressway: Slow moving traffic due to heavy volume of traffic from Senai to Skudai, from Nilai to Seremban, from Juru heading towards the Penang bridge, from Subang to Rawang and from Jalan Duta heading towards Sungai Buloh.

Accident report: overturned car at KM304 from Gopeng to Tapah. Car is not obstructing traffic, but it remains slow moving at the scene.

RED FLAG!

Ok, mama dan kanak2 sekalian, kita balik kampung pagi besok je lah…

Kenangan…

Snowmageddon…

2 feet of snow! Even Mr Pres. got a name for it, ‘Snowmageddon’…

Washington is currently experiencing its worst snow in 90 years. Wish I were there with my Oly though. As a photog I will have a field day snap sana, snap sini…

Here’s a quick run down on what usually happened in Troy while I was there a couple of years back when snow turun tak henti2 (selalunya malam dan bersambung ke awal pagi) …

  • For sure uni tutup, boleh sambung tidur 😀
  • Sekolah kakak @ School 14 pun tutup gak.
  • Snow angel dah jadi satu kemestian.
  • Adik will ask kakak to get a bowl of snow so that he could play with it macam ABC, huhu (he’s so not in good term with snow, takut sejuk)…
  • Jangan nak ngada2 cuba nak drive kereta, masuk ke longkang jadinya kalau silap haribulan…

Lemah lembut…

Di satu petang, tika mana seorang novelis sedang asyik mengetuk kekunci keyboard dan seorang qs yang sememangnya secara semulajadi (tanpa dipaksa2) amat kurang rajin untuk masuk ke dapur…

“Abah, what’s for dinner?”

“Errr, bungkus je lah. Nanti abah ke Seksyen 6”

“Cam gitu, kakak nak nasik goreng dgn ayam lemah lembut.”

Ayam LEMAH LEMBUT? English please?”

“Soft fried chicken, not that crispy.”

“Oh, understood…”

Simply awesome!
